African Artefacts

From Tuesday January 7th to Sunday January 26th, 2014, Talisman, via the Amazing Bazaar in Nairobi’s Industrial Area, will be exhibiting African artifacts from across Africa – authentic masks and accessories from Congo and Gabon through to the Ivory Coast, all at affordable prices.

In Africa, the use of the mask can be traced back to Paleolithic times and every mask has a specific spiritual meaning. They were used in rituals and ceremonies but also for protection or in hunting and sports activities. Look for the interesting and unique fire bellows in the main lounge area.
