Amy Sandys-Lumsdaine

Amy Sandys-Lumsdaine is back at The Talisman with the fifth annual exhibition of her ever-popular oil paintings, featuring meticulous details, lush colours and beautiful shading. Amy studied Textile Design at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology and worked in London before moving to Kenya in 1997. Her work reflects the wildlife, landscapes and people of Kenya, with subjects drawn from travels with her photographer husband, Elsen Karstad, as they explore the country using their personal aircraft. Her unique style – classic, with a contemporary spin – has brought her a varied clientele both nationally and abroad, and her yearly showing at The Talisman is always highly-anticipated.
