Patricia Njeri is back at the Talisman with her quirky and creative textile works. Born in Nairobi in 1972, she holds an academic degree in political science as well as being one of Kenya’s leading self taught artists. She began her artistic career in 1990 and joined the Kuona Trust as a freelance artist. In 2008 she founded the Kilele Art Studio along with fellow artists and collegues. Her work is largely experimental and features a blend of oil paint and traditional textiles to create bright and exciting portraits of everyday Kenyan life.
Patricia’s work is on show at Talisman from the 4th of April.
