Cynthia Njora & Sticky Muriithi (April 2019)

Artist Cynthia Njora

Cynthia Njora’s work explores everyday life, and the little but odd celebrations that come with it. She also look explore the duality of objects, living and non-living in space where they become one. It is a colourful and playful display of her as an artist. It is also experimental in technique and style as she learns more about herself as an artist and her message to the world. Her medium is mostly acrylics and watercolour on canvas, experimenting on impressionism and pointillism, influenced by our day to day lives.

Artist Sticky Muriithi

I have been interested in arts and artist my entire life .I began drawing at an early age drawing inspiration from cartoons ,comic magazines and books, graffiti in music videos and haven’t looked back ever since. I am fascinated by a lot of stuff that influences my art greatly; nature, hip hop, people, food, photography and my favourite shoes and apparel.I was mentored by Patrick Mukabi and I have been working for 6 years professionally.Art is where I find refuge as well as a purpose, as I seek to share, teach and inspire others to appreciate as well venture into it.
